Alternator

    The alternator, rotating machine, alternating current generator is composed of a stator, a rotor, a brush holder or regulator, diodes, pulley. The alternator is driven by the accessory belt, the power steering pump and the air conditioning compressor can also be combined.


    It is permanently driven by the internal combustion engine and is associated with a diode current rectifier unit, the rectified current being used to supply the electrical system and charge the battery.
