Ignition

Gasoline vehicles with carburettor or first single-point engine were equipped with Ducellier, Sev Marchal, Bosch, Paris-Rhone, Denso, Delco Remy igniters.

An igniter is composed of a head on which come the cables of the ignition wire harness connecting the spark plugs. Inside is the rotor or igniter finger, a sensor depending on the model. The head and rotor are available alone or as a Valéo, Bougicord, Bosch or Beru kit.

You will also find the sets of platinum screws also called switches, contact sets, capacitors.

The cable set or ignition cable is also available as well as the AC Delco, Bosch, Sev, Champion, Marelli spark plugs.

The ignition coil must be checked and replaced if defective, as must the ignition module.
