Carburetion

The carburetor were installed in the engines before the injection arrived.

It was used in internal combustion engines, its role is to act on the air/fuel mixture and control the quantity of this mixture supplied to the engine.

The main brands are Solex, Weber, Zenith, Pierburg also called German solex (which sometimes generates confusion when searching for parts), Mikuni or Aisan on Japanese vehicles.
