Preventive replacement of the original starter, as the brushes were blocked by corrosion. This new starter is smaller and lighter than the original, so easier to fit on the tractor. Seems to turn (speed not specified in the specifications, the original one turns at 3600 rpm) much faster than the original starter. Noisier when starting the engine. More noisy when starting the engine. We'll have to wait and see how long it works, as the original is almost 40 years old and still works after cleaning.
