Carburettor

The carburetor was the ancestor of injection.

It equipped the internal combustion engines, its role was to act on the mixture as well as to control the quantity of the air/fuel mixture supplied to the engine.

The main brands are Solex, Weber, Zenith, Pierburg also called German solex (which sometimes causes confusion when looking for parts), Mikuni or Aisan on Japanese vehicles.

You can also find carburettors for Briggs & Stratton, Echo, Honda, Husqvarna, ACME, Stihl, Tecumseh, Tillotson, Viper engines.

To find a part for your carburetor, it is imperative to be able to identify it.

For example:

SOLEX 32 PBISA

ZENITH 32 IF2

WEBER 32 TL

Without this it will be nearly impossible to identify your carburetor.
